Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the world’s most famous strikers. He has been playing professionally non-stop for the last 20 years. His last contract was with LA Galaxy and expired this year. For quite some time there has been speculation that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will reunite with Jose Mourinho and return to Tottenham Hotspur F.C. However, Zlatan put all these rumours to an end with a simple post on social media that hints at a new club. This comes shortly after Mourinho himself announced that Zlatan will not be returning.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish professional footballer known for his position as striker. The 38-year-old is viewed as one of the best strikers of his generation. He is also ranked among one of the three most decorated active footballers in the world, as he has won 31 trophies over the course of his career.
Zlatan’s first senior professional club was Malmö FF. He played for them from 1999-2000. He made 40 appearances and scored 16 goals. From 2001 to 2004 he was a part of Ajax Amsterdam. He made 74 appearances for the club and scored 35 goals. He joined Juventus in 2004, where he stayed until 2006. He made 70 appearances and scored 23 goals for Juventus.

The last club he joined was LA Galaxy from 2018 to 2019 where he made 56appearances and scored 52 goals.
Following the expiration of his LA Galaxy contract Zlatan is a free agent. However, he has been linked to various top European clubs. After Mourinho’s announcement the 38-year-old posted a video of a Hammarby IF jersey featuring his name across a few of his social media pages. The Swedish club was also tagged in his caption.
While the club has not officially confirmed it, it appears as though Ibrahimovicplans on making his return to Allsvenskan, a Swedish professional league, for the first time since 2001. If this transfer is made official,Hammarby will become Ibrahimovic’s 10th professional club. However, the possibility does exist that this video was not posted to be taken seriously, as Zlatan has been known for his enigmatic personality. So only time (or an official announcement from Hammarby) will tell if this is indeed Zlatan’s next move.
