Wynn Resorts has announced that it would be bringing a unique experience to Allegiant Stadium. The stadium is home to the NFL Las Vegas Raiders and the plan is to bring a nightlife club experience to the stadium, similar to what can be found at the operator's Las Vegas Strip properties.
The makeshift nightclub is set to be situated in the Wynn Field Club, which is an 11,000 square foot area inside the domed stadium. The Field Club space takes up the entire north end zone of the stadium and comfortably accommodates about 719 people. A statement from Wynn Resorts explains that the experience will be unique and will offer its guests a nightlife experience that is high-energy and located in the heart of all the action. The venue will have appearances by Wynn Nightlife’s roster of globally acclaimed DJs as well as premium bottle service.
The plan is to also include over-the-top experiences that Las Vegas is known for and to cater to guests in a way that can only be done in this city. Furthermore, when the plan was announced, specifications were also revealed which gives the potential guest a better understanding of what to expect. The venue will have four bars, 29 booths for fans, 42 televisions, a 9-foot by 35-foot video display and two state-of-the-art DJ booths as well.
The Allegiant Stadium is a big deal in Las Vegas and many casino operators play major roles in its investment, upkeep and amenities. Before the stadium received its name or before the construction of the Las Vegas NFL Stadium was completed, Caesars Entertainment became one of the stadium’s Founding Partners. In fact, Caesars was the very first Founding Partner and took on the role in 2018. Sometime after, San Manuel Casino in California and MGM Resorts also joined as founding partners.
When an entity becomes a founding partner, perks accompany the inauguration. Each of the three casinos has dedicated suites for all UNLV and Raiders football games. Additionally, the casinos all have the privilege of being invited to special events at the stadium. The entities are also allowed to advertise and display their brands and as the first founding partner, Caesars also has a special entrance for any of the casino’s VIPs. Wynn Resorts chose not to be one of the founding partners but will still have the privilege of having front row seats to all the excitement the Allegiant Stadium has to offer. The operator said that the Field Club will make its debut later in 2021.
The renderings released by Wynn Resorts include exciting images of guests cheering on the Raiders while drinking and dancing, as well as a live DJ playing music to accompany the atmosphere. However, some details have been left out given that the NFL specific regulations related to sound and music in the confines of the stadium. No further information on how the casino operator will manage the sound to keep it within the rules and regulations.
According to the NFL’s policy on sound in the stadium, it states that certain crowd noises are out of their immediate control. However, sounds that can be controlled, such as music, drums etc. must stop when the play clock is ticking. Disruptive sounds from the public address system, mascots or cheerleaders to enact crowd noise while the play clock is running is something that is completely prohibited inside the stadium.
The sound policy was adjusted slightly in 2020 going into 2021 where the capacity levels were none and moved to less than 2,500 fans in the stadium. The NFL allowed stadiums to play ambient, fake, crowd noise but only up to 80 decibels. According to the CDC, sounds of 80 decibels is what people would hear from a gas-powered lawn mower or general city traffic, which is not a disruptive measure of sound.
