Massive games provider Playtech has increased the size of its live casino games roster by adding yet another title. This time, the classic game of roulette get a new live croupier spin with Quantum Roulette, which is now available to all Canadian Casinos that decide to add the remixed table game from Playtech’s already bulging Live Casino network series of games.
Clearly wanting to improve the already fine details and immersive experience of its previous live casino titles, Playtech has created Quantum Roulette along the lines of single zero roulette, as more traditionally played across Europe (as opposed to the more difficult to win double zero American versions of the game). Its stand out features include multipliers on certain ‘straight-up’ bets each game round, with anything from 50x to 500x multipliers available in five different tiers.
There’s also a randomly selected special event called a Quantum Boost. This will make either some or all of the multipliers suddenly skyrocket, giving you even bigger wins should you choose to place your bets at the right time and of course in the right pocket when it hits.
The brand new Quantum Roulette experience is just the latest in a long line of fantastic live casino titles including all the favourites: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, casino hold’em and more. The Israeli company only recently launched two other live focused roulette games in the form of American Roulette (yep, that’s right, with the infamous double zero) and Spread-Bet Roulette. These games are already available at any Canadian online casino that features Playtech titles. This is in addition to a gamut of other live casino releases from the games provider, including Hi-Lo, Dragon Jackpot Baccarat and Casino Stud Poker.
Discussing the recent launch of Quantum Roulette, Head of Innovation for Live Casino Kevin Kilminster said Playtech were committed to producing “an experience-led offering, both from a game-play and presentation perspective” and that the product vision is “central to what makes us stand out in the industry”. We here at CasinoTop certainly have to agree that Playtech’s live casino game is hotting up as it hopes to fend off recent innovations from the likes of live casino specialists Evolution Gaming and the mighty NetEnt. Adding on to his previous statement, Kevin Kilminster said that the latest Playtech games will have “great appeal for the modern generation of Live Casino players”.
Playtech certainly have been busy of late. It was only recently that the company announced that it will continue to produce games compliant with the now ubiquitous HTML5 technology that enables mobile players to enjoy their games. In addition to this, Playtech are also committing themselves to developing games specifically for Apple’s iOS native code base. That means they will release apps and other products through Apple’s App Store in the very near future. We can only applaud this move, which has been instigated by Apple themselves to ensure that no code can be hidden from their moderators, as it will mean a better experience for all mobile casino players. After all, we all want a premium experience that, as Steve Jobs once said, just works.
